Stuntzner Engineering performed the design and construction management in the major facets of the North Bend High School Football Stadium reconstruction. The primary focus was providing a low maintenance sports field, with modifications for soccer and track. Private funding and the North Bend Booster Club allowed for new grandstands ( design work performed by Crow/Clay and Associates), walk and restroom improvements, an artificial turf field, track facility improvements, a new scoreboard including video replay, and a “Hall of Champions” (design work performed by HGE Inc.) facility that provides both room for historical displays and a conference center. Overall facility improvement installed are over $1M, making it one of the best high school sport complexes in the State of Oregon. Stuntzner Engineering was also involved in other sports improvements for the North Bend School District including two soccer fields, two softball fields and a weight room. Construction of these facilities took place during the summer “off school” times in order to facilitate the school year, which is relatively quick for the extent of the work. Construction took place between 2007 and 2011.
