| Stuntzner Engineering & Forestry, LLC (SEF) consists of a group of engineers, land
surveyors, foresters and planners with a broad based background
in both education and practical experience. The firm was established
in 1968. The main office is located in Coos Bay, Oregon, with branch
offices in the Brookings-Harbor, Oregon area (1994), in Dallas,
Oregon (1998), and in Forest Grove, Oregon (1999). We have
extensive experience in working on a wide range of interdisciplinary
projects in Oregon, Washington, California and Southeast Alaska.
The firm has an excellent track record with large and small contracts
for private citizens and corporations, local, State, Federal and
Tribal governments.
SEF has forestry experience in the Western
U.S. including Alaska. Forestry services offered range from activities
associated with commercial timber production to environmental impact
statements. Our firm provides services to small woodland owners,
timber companies, contractors and local and federal governments
and agencies. We are proud of our client relationships and hope
you’ll give us the opportunity to provide you with quality
services.
We take pride in our reputation of efficient,
quality survey work aimed at client satisfaction and return patronage.
Our licensed surveyors and survey crews will strive to answer your
simplest question or resolve your most complex boundary problem.
We have established valuable working relationships with the County,
State and Federal agency surveyors; relationships such as these
help us to quickly acquire the often in-depth research necessary
to professionally complete your survey.
We also have complete access to title company
records; offering experienced land title research back to the original
Government Land Patents of the 1870’s.
SEF has successfully completed several coastal
and offshore construction surveying projects. We are accustomed
to the demanding schedules of construction staking and the importance
of project coordination and management.
Engineering encompasses a wide range of activities
that deal with solving problems, whether the result of regulatory
requirements or the physical nature of our environment. We are familiar
with the complex issues facing developers, landowners, industry,
municipalities and agencies as they approach the obstacles associated
with a new project or an existing facility. From conceptual planning
through design and construction, including materials testing, our
experience with the requirements and familiarity with area jurisdictions
are well suited to most engineering projects. Projects are designed
and drafted using AutoCAD and DCA software, and other design packages.
Our planning services include researching and
preparing land use analysis reports for landowners, prospective
buyers and developers. The wide range of expertise our staff offers
and our desire to provide cost-effective consultation has contributed
to our success in obtaining development permits from individual
dwellings to complex land development projects.
SEF offers an interdisciplinary service package,
tailored to achieving our clients’ goals. The range of experience
and expertise of our staff speeds complex projects and provides
one source for addressing a wide range of land use and development
issues. Continuing education and involvement in professional organizations,
as well as local land use planning processes, help to keep our staff
current on methods and regulations. This is achieved by continuing
our education by attending land use seminars, reviewing current
case law and participating in local land use planning processes.
